Our Italian Sausage mixed with frozen vegetables makes this variation of a well-loved recipe as unique as it is delicious.

Recipe Ingredients

8 oz.
Fettuccine
1 jar
Alfredo pasta sauce (16 oz)
1 bag
frozen peas and carrots, thawed (10 oz)
1/2 cup
grated Parmesan cheese
1 tablespoon
parsley, chopped
1/4 cup
water

Instructions

Pinch Italian sausage and shape into about 36 meatballs.

Lightly spray large skillet with non stick spray and heat meatballs over medium high heat for 1 minute per side until lightly browned on each side.

Add ¼ c. water and cover with a tightly fitting lid and allow to steam for 8 – 10 minutes until meatballs are fully cooked and have reached an internal temperature of 165 F.

Meanwhile, cook fettuccine according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

When sausage is cooked, add Alfredo sauce, peas and carrots. Cook until vegetables are hot.

Serve sauce over fettuccine. Garnish with Parmesan and parsley.
