These unbelievably good, wedge-cut, French fries are flavorful and crisp – and made with no oil! Fresh potatoes are tossed with herbs, garlic, egg whites and a bit of cornstarch, then baked until crisp. Just 187 calories per serving.

Recipe Ingredients

4 or 5
medium russet potatoes*, cut lengthwise into 8 wedges
1 Tbsp.
cornstarch
1/3 cup
Bob Evans® egg whites
1 clove
garlic, finely chopped
To taste
hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp.
dried thyme
Coarse salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Malt vinegar (optional)

Instructions

Heat oven to 450°F. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment. Toss potatoes with cornstarch until coated.

Whisk Bob Evans egg whites in medium bowl with garlic and hot pepper sauce. Add the potatoes; toss with hands to coat in egg white mixture.

Lift potatoes onto prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle with thyme, salt and pepper; spray with cooking spray. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden and tender, turning once or twice. Serve sprinkled with vinegar.
