In large skillet over medium heat cook sausage, onion and green pepper until sausage is browned and vegetables are tender.
Stir in tomato sauce, beans, chili powder and cumin. Simmer over low heat 15 minutes.
Preheat over to 350 F.
Spray a 9”x13” baking pan with nonstick spray. Place bottom bun halves in pan. Top with chili mixture then sprinkle with cheese.
Top with bun tops. Brush buns with melted butter. Cover pan with foil and bake 15 minutes.
Uncover and bake 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
