
Caramelized Onion and Mushroom Pasta Bake
Earthy mushrooms and sweet caramelized onions come together in a comforting pasta bake, perfect for chilly nights and hearty appetites.
Ingredients
- 4 Tablespoons butter divided
- 2 Onions thinly sliced
- 8 Ounces sliced mushrooms
- 2 Cloves garlic minced
- 12 Ounces Bob Evans Six Cheese Pasta Single Serve
- 1 Tablespoon minced fresh thyme

- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions; cover and cook 15 minutes or until tender.
- Uncover, and increase heat to medium-high.
- Cook, stirring constantly, until onions are golden brown.
- Remove from skillet, and set aside.
- Melt remaining butter in same skillet over medium heat.
- Add mushrooms and garlic; cook, stirring occasionally, until mushrooms are browned tender.
- Spoon 6-Cheese Pasta into a bowl.
- Stir in caramelized onions, mushroom mixture, and thyme until blended.
- Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 1½-quart baking dish.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
- Enjoy!
Note: Garnish with fresh thyme, if on hand.
