  • 1 Package Owens Original Pork Sausage Patties
  • 1 Teaspoon oil
  • 1/2 Cup red pepper sliced
  • 1/2 Cup green pepper sliced
  • 1/2 Cup onion sliced
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 8 slider buns
  • 4 Slices provolone cheese cut in half
  • 2 Tablespoons butter melted


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray 9” square baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In large skillet over medium heat, cook patties, turning occasionally until brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove from skillet. Add oil to skillet and cook peppers and onions until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in Italian seasoning.
  4. Place bottom bun halves into baking dish. Top each with a patty. Evenly divide vegetables over patties. Top each with a half cheese slice. Top with bun tops. Brush with melted butter.
  5. Cover dish with foil and bake 15 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese is melted.
