Cheddar Biscuit Sausage Balls

  • 1 Package Bob Evans Original Pork Sausage Links
  • 2 Cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 1/4 Cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 Cup butter or margarine melted
  • 1/2 Teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 Teaspoon salt
  • Mustard to serve (optional)
  • Ranch dressing to serve (optional)


  1. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until brown.
  2. Drain sausage on paper towels. Cut each link into 4 equal pieces.
  3. Preheat oven to 400F.
  4. To prepare dough, combine cheese, flour, butter, paprika and salt; mix well.
  5. Wrap rounded teaspoon of dough around each piece of sausage, rolling dough in palms to form a ball. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly browned.
  7. Serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers. Serve with mustard or Ranch dressing for dipping.

These may be prepared ahead, covered and refrigerated overnight or frozen up to 1 month before baking. If frozen, they may be baked unthawed.
