  • 1 can (13.8 ounces) of refrigerated pizza dough

  • 3/4 cup cut into (¼ inch pieces)
  • 1 jar (14 ounce) pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Hawaiian Pizza Cones

  1. Remove all but the lowest oven rack. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Wrap each sugar cone in non-stick tin foil, making the foil as smooth as possible. Each cone should be able to stand upside down on its own.
  3. Roll pizza dough out to a 12 inch x 16 inch rectangle. Cut into twelve 4 inch squares.
  4. Wrap one piece of dough around each covered cone, cutting off excess dough as needed to make a nice even top edge.
  5. Set cones, the side facing down on the cooking sheet, so they are upright, point facing up, onto a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10-14 minutes, until golden brown. If the tips begin to get really brown, remove the cones from the oven, set them seam side down and continue baking.
  7. While the pizza cones are baking, combine the ham, pineapple and pasta sauce in a skillet. Set over medium heat and cook, stirring occasionally until hot. Stir in 1/2 cup of the cheese.
  8. Once the pizza cones are baked and are cool enough to handle, remove them from the foil wrapped cones.
  9. Evenly divide the ham and pineapple mixture and spoon into each cone. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top and allow to melt. If needed, pop in the hot oven for a minute or two until cheese melts. Serve hot.
