Ingredients

  • 20 Ounces Bob Evans Macaroni & Cheese
  • 1⁄2 Cup butter, plus 2 tablespoon softened and divided
  • 2 Onions thinly sliced
  • 2 Pounds ground beef
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 Teaspoon pepper
  • 12 Slices Texas toast
  • 12 Slices Colby Jack cheese
  • 32 Ounces frozen french fries

Instructions

  1. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium heat; add onions, and cook, stirring occasionally, until onions are tender and golden brown.
  2. Stir together beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; shape into 6 thin patties.
  3. Cook patties in a large skillet over medium heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until done; remove from skillet, and wipe skillet clean.
  4. Heat Bob Evans® macaroni and cheese according to package directions.
  5. Top 6 slices toast each with 1 slice cheese, onions, patties, 1 slice cheese, and macaroni and cheese.
  6. Cover with remaining bread slices.
  7. Spread outsides of sandwiches with remaining softened butter.
  8. Cook sandwiches in same skillet over medium- low heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Bake fries according to package directions.
