Maple Sausage Pancakes
Maple sausage pancakes—the salty sweet combo you didn’t realize you needed in your life. They’re a little different. And a lotta delicious.
Ingredients
- 1 Package Bob Evans Original Roll Pork Sausage
- 2 Cups all purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 2 Teaspoons baking powder
- 1 Teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 Teaspoon salt
- 2 Cups buttermilk
- 2 Tablespoons butter melted
- 1/2 Cup Bob Evans 100% Liquid Egg Whites – 16 Ounces
- 8 Ounces maple syrup divided

- Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly; drain, and set aside.
- Preheat griddle or a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Add buttermilk, butter, liquid egg white, and ¼ cup maple syrup, stirring to blend. Stir in half of crumbled sausage.
- Drop batter by ¼ cupfuls onto griddle, and cook 3 to 4 minutes or until tops are covered with bubbles. Turn and cook other side 1 minute.
- Top pancakes with remaining sausage and serve with syrup.
