Ingredients

  • 12 Count mozzarella string cheese snack
  • 24 Ounces Bob Evans Original Mashed Potatoes
  • ½ Cup all purpose flour
  • 2 Large eggs
  • 1 Cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ Cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tsp dried thyme
  • ½ Tsp dried rosemary
  • ½ Tsp garlic powder
  • 15 Ounces jar marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Unwrap cheese sticks.
  2. Press potatoes around cheese sticks to coat; dredge in flour, shaking off excess.
  3. Lightly beat eggs in a shallow dish.
  4. Stir together breadcrumbs, cheese, thyme, rosemary, and garlic powder in a second shallow dish.
  5. Dip coated cheese sticks in beaten egg, letting excess drip off.
  6. Dredge in breadcrumb mixture to coat.
  7. Place on a lightly greased wire rack.
  8. Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
  9. Spray air fryer basket with olive oil cooking spray.
  10. Place coated cheese sticks ½ inch apart in air fryer basket.
  11. Spray generously with cooking spray.
  12. Air fry, in batches, 5 minutes or until golden brown.
  13. Turn, and air fry 3 to 4 minutes longer.
  14. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
