A ‘berry’ nice finish to any meal, this dessert recipe features our Glazed Apples, mixed with a variety of sweet berries on a crispy, golden brown bed of streusel.
8 tablespoons cold unsalted butter (1 stick), cut into small pieces
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the glazed apples and the various fruits.
Pour into a 9 x 13 baking pan.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
While fruit is baking, mix together ingredients for the streusel.
Gather Streusel Topping ingredients.
Mix together the brown sugar, oats, flour, and cinnamon until evenly combined.
With your fingertips, blend in the butter pieces until small clumps form and the butter is well incorporated, about 2 minutes.
Sprinkle the topping evenly over the fruit and place back in the oven uncovered.
Bake until the streusel is lightly browned and the fruit is tender, about 30 minutes.
Remove from oven and let set for 5 minutes before serving.
