Snack or appetizer, our Original Sausage Links are wrapped in a cheddar biscuit, delivering a fresh, robust taste no matter the occasion.


  • 1 pkg. Bob Evans Original Links 12 oz
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
Savory Sausage Biscuits


  1. In a skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until brown.
  2. Drain sausage on paper towels. Cut each link into 4 equal pieces.
  3. Preheat oven to 400F.
  4. To prepare dough, combine cheese, flour, butter, paprika and salt; mix well.
  5. Wrap rounded teaspoon of dough around each piece of sausage, rolling dough in palms to form a ball. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  6. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until slightly browned.
  7. Serve hot. Refrigerate leftovers. Serve with mustard or Ranch dressing for dipping.
  8. Note: Cheesy Sausage Tidbits may be prepared ahead, covered and refrigerated overnight or frozen up to 1 month before baking. If frozen, they may be baked unthawed.
