Shareable Biscuit Board
Freshly baked biscuits are served alongside sausage patties, scrambled eggs, cheese, honey, preserves, and apple butter for a customizable breakfast board everyone can enjoy together.
Ingredients
- 3½ Cups all purpose flour
- 2 Tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 Tablespoon kosher salt
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder
- ½ Teaspoon baking soda
- 1¼ Cup cold butter cubed
- 1 Cup cold buttermilk
- 1 Large egg lightly beaten
- 12 Ounces Bob Evans Original Pork Sausage Patties
- 8 Large eggs
- ¼ Cup whole milk
- ½ Cup apple butter
- ¼ Cup strawberry preserves
- ¼ Cup honey
- 8 Slices American cheese

- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Whisk together flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and baking soda in a large bowl.
- Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender or two forks until mixture is crumbly.
- Gradually stir in buttermilk until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and pat or roll dough to 1-inch thickness.
- Cut dough with a 2½-inch round cutter, re-rolling scraps as needed.
- Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Brush tops of biscuits with lightly beaten egg.
- Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Meanwhile, cook sausage according to package directions.
- Whisk eggs and milk in a large bowl; season with salt and pepper, if desired.
- Cook in a lightly greased skillet over medium-low heat 4 to 5 minutes or just until eggs begin to set on bottom.
- Cook, stirring constantly until eggs are thickened and set.
- Arrange biscuits, sausage, scrambled eggs, apple butter, preserves, honey, and cheese slices on a large board for serving.
