
Fig and Ham Grilled Cheese
A grilled cheesy goodness, but with gourmet style. Crispy golden bread and melted cheese finds the perfect balance of salty and sweet, making this sandwich the next homerun for any lunch or dinnertime craving.
Ingredients
- 12 Ounces Bob Evans Fully Cooked Ham Steaks, 8 Pack
- 12 Slices sourdough bread
- 6 Tabelspoons fig preserves chopped
- 1 Cup shredded Gruyere cheese
- 6 Slices white Cheddar cheese
- 2 Cups baby arugula
- ½ Cup butter softened

- Cook ham steaks, in batches, in a large skillet over medium heat until browned; drain on paper towels.
- Spread half of bread slices with fig preserves.
- Top with shredded cheese, ham steak, arugula, and sliced cheese.
- Cover with remaining bread slices.
- Spread softened butter on outsides of sandwiches.
- Cook sandwiches, in batches, in a large nonstick skillet over medium-low heat 4 to 5 minutes per side or until bread is toasted and cheese is melted.
