Ingredients

  • 1 Loaf Brioche cubed and toasted
  • 4 Ounces cream cheese cut into small cubes
  • ¾ Cup apple butter
  • 12 Ounces Bob Evans Original Pork Sausage Patties cooked and quartered
  • 1½ Cups shredded sharp white Cheddar cheese
  • 8 Large eggs
  • 2 Cups whole milk
  • 1 Cup heavy cream
  • ¼ Cup maple syrup
  • 2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2½ Teaspoons ground cinnamon divided
  • 1 Teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ Teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ¾ Cup all purpose flour
  • ½ Cup chopped pecans
  • ⅓ Cup packed brown sugar
  • 6 Tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Spread half of brioche cubes in dish.
  2. Scatter half of cream cheese over bread. Dollop half of apple butter over cream cheese, top with half of sausage, and half of cheese. Repeat layers.
  3. Lightly beat eggs, milk, cream, syrup, vanilla, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg. Slowly pour over bread mixture.
  4. Cover, and refrigerate overnight. Let casserole stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 35 minutes. Meanwhile, stir together flour, pecans, brown sugar, and ½ teaspoon cinnamon in a small bowl.
  6. Add melted butter, stirring until combined. Sprinkle streusel over casserole.
  7. Bake 25 to 35 minutes longer or until center is set, covering casserole with foil to prevent excess browning, if necessary..
