
Sausage French Toast Roll-Ups
Kid-approved and fun to eat, these roll-ups feature sausage links wrapped in bread, dipped in egg, and cooked until golden. Serve with syrup for an easy twist on breakfast-for-dinner (or just enjoy as breakfast).
Ingredients
- 1 package Bob Evans Original Pork Sausage Links
- 14 slices sandwich bread
- 3 large eggs
- 6 tablespoons butter
- 4 ounces pancake syrup
- Powdered sugar (optional)

- Cook sausages according to package directions. Meanwhile, cut crusts from each bread slice, and roll very thin.
- Place one sausage link on one edge of each flattened bread slice. Roll up to completely enclose sausage.
- Whisk eggs in a shallow bowl. Dip roll ups in beaten egg to coat, letting excess drip off.
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add one-third of roll ups, and cook 3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Repeat procedure with remaining butter and roll ups.
- Serve hot with syrup.
Note: Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if on hand.
