Sausage French Toast Roll-Ups

Kid-approved and fun to eat, these roll-ups feature sausage links wrapped in bread, dipped in egg, and cooked until golden. Serve with syrup for an easy twist on breakfast-for-dinner (or just enjoy as breakfast).

Instructions

  1. Cook sausages according to package directions. Meanwhile, cut crusts from each bread slice, and roll very thin.
  2. Place one sausage link on one edge of each flattened bread slice. Roll up to completely enclose sausage.
  3. Whisk eggs in a shallow bowl. Dip roll ups in beaten egg to coat, letting excess drip off.
  4. Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add one-third of roll ups, and cook 3 minutes per side or until golden brown. Repeat procedure with remaining butter and roll ups.
  5. Serve hot with syrup.

Note: Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if on hand.
