Ingredients

  • 1 Pound Bob Evans Maple Roll Pork Sausage
  • 2 Apples diced
  • 14 Ounces loaf French bread cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 Cup dried cranberries
  • 1 Cup heavy cream
  • 1 Cup whole milk
  • 8 Large eggs
  • ½ Cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ Teaspoon grated nutmeg
  • ¼ Cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Cook sausage in a large skillet over medium heat until browned and crumbly.
  2. Add apples; cook 3 minutes.
  3. Transfer to a large bowl and stir in cubed bread and cranberries.
  4. Pour cream, milk, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg into the container of a blender. Process until smooth.
  5. Slowly pour over sausage mixture; stir gently to coat.
  6. Cover and refrigerate 1 to 12 hours.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  8. Uncover bread pudding mixture; stir gently.
  9. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  10. Let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
  11. Bake 45 minutes or until bread is puffed and golden brown.
  12. Drizzle with maple syrup.
  13. Enjoy!

Note: Use day-old bread for best results, or cube bread and let it stand for a few hours (or overnight) to dry out.
